These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the services provided through our software and computer programs (SaaS) owned by PDF Work (hereinafter, respectively, the "Services" and the "Programs").
2. Scope
PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY. This document constitutes a contract from which legal obligations arise for you. These Terms and Conditions are binding and govern the terms of use, access and use of the Services and Programs.
The use of the Services:
- Attributes the condition of user to the one who uses them (hereinafter, the "User" or "You");
- Implies the full and complete acceptance of these Terms and Conditions; and
- Confirms that You have read and understood the Privacy Policy of PDF Work.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, You agree to:
- Assume all obligations arising from these Terms and Conditions;
- Use the Services only for the purposes permitted by law;
- Not share registered user accounts with other persons;
- Refrain from using the Services for any illegal act;
- Not collect, manipulate or store personal data about other users without complying with data protection legislation.
3. Eligibility
YOU ARE ALLOWED TO USE PDF WORK SERVICES IF:
- You are over 18 years old; OR
- You are over 16 years old and live independently; OR
- You have not been prohibited by a judicial or administrative authority from accessing this type of service.
IF YOU ARE A MINOR in your jurisdiction, you may use the Services with the authorization and under the responsibility of an adult who supervises your user account. All liability derived from the acts of a minor will be exclusively of the adult person who supervises the minor.
4. Limited Use License
Subject to compliance with these Terms and Conditions, PDF Work grants You a non-exclusive, time-limited, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services and/or Programs (the "License").
PDF Work is the exclusive holder of all rights over the Services and the Programs. The License does not grant Users any Industrial and Intellectual Property rights over the Services and/or the Programs.
Prohibited actions include:
- Copying, modifying, or distributing the Programs without authorization;
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to discover source code;
- Using the Programs to train machine learning algorithms or AI systems.
5. Use of Services
You must use the Services in good faith and solely for their intended purpose, in accordance with applicable law, morality, and these Terms and Conditions.
The following actions are expressly prohibited:
- Using automated scraping processes (bots, scrapers, spiders) on PDF Work Programs;
- Converting or editing documents at a rate that exceeds what a human can reasonably do;
- Sharing your User account or password with any third party;
- Using the Services in an abusive manner beyond reasonable legitimate needs.
PDF Work may investigate any account that registers an unusual volume of activity to determine whether these Terms and Conditions are being breached.
6. User Accounts
You can create a PDF Work user account by registering through our registration forms. To create your account, you must provide your name, email address, and generate a user password.
Account Types:
- Free Account: Unregistered or registered user with basic features.
- Premium Account: Registered user with full access and unlimited processing.
- Business Account: Company account with team management features.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your user account and password. If you know or suspect that your account is being used in an unauthorized way, you must immediately notify PDF Work.
7. User Content
"Content" means any text, information, communication, or material such as audio files, video files, electronic documents, images, or any other that You upload to our Services.
Important Privacy Information:
- PDF Work does not access or analyze your Content.
- Files are automatically deleted within 2 hours of processing.
- Your Content only remains on our servers while the download link is available.
- You retain all rights and existing Industrial and Intellectual Property over your Content.
You shall be liable to PDF Work for any claims arising from infringement of third-party rights through your use of the Services.
8. Fees, Billing and Payment
PDF Work provides the Services subject to the payment of subscription fees in effect at any given time.
Subscription and Automatic Renewal
To become a Premium User, you must subscribe to a Premium Account. Subscriptions follow an automatic payment renewal model in monthly or annual periods. Unless you expressly cancel your subscription at least 7 calendar days before the expiration date, your subscription shall be automatically renewed indefinitely.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscriptions at any time. Cancellation implies that your subscription will not be automatically renewed upon expiration. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid for the remaining subscription time.
Money Back Guarantee
If the Service becomes unavailable due to causes attributable to PDF Work, you are entitled to request a refund within 15 calendar days from the date of payment. Contact our support team at support@pdfwork.net.
Free Trial Period
New users may be entitled to a Free Trial Period. By providing your billing details, you accept the Free Trial offer. IF BEFORE THE END OF THE FREE TRIAL PERIOD YOU DO NOT CANCEL, THE SERVICE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE RENEWED and you will be charged accordingly.
9. Intellectual Property
PDF Work is the full and exclusive owner of all Industrial and Intellectual Property rights in the Services and the Programs, including trademarks, logos, domain names, and other distinctive signs.
You acknowledge that through these Terms and Conditions, you are not granted any ownership rights or licenses over PDF Work's Industrial and Intellectual Property rights. You may not use our trademarks in any way that may create a risk of confusion.
Trademarks include: PDF Work, the PDF Work logo, and all related product names.
10. Technical Support
All Services include a general maintenance service to ensure availability of the Services and Programs.
- Free Account Users: Access to FAQ and community support.
- Premium Account Users: Priority support with shorter response times.
- Business Users: Dedicated support with agreed response times.

11. Fraudulent Practices
PDF Work takes fraud prevention seriously. Be aware of phishing attempts:
- Always access our Services through the official website: https://www.pdfwork.net
- PDF Work never requests personal data through unsolicited emails or social media.
- Ignore emails asking you to click links and enter your account information.
If you become aware of any fraudulent action, please contact us immediately at info@pdfwork.net.
In the event of fraud or fraudulent payment, PDF Work reserves the right to suspend your access to the Services or cancel your user account.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PDF WORK PROVIDES EACH SERVICE "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, OF ANY KIND.
PDF Work will not be liable for:
- Any loss of information not attributable to a breach on our part;
- Lost profits, loss of income, loss of contracts, or anticipated savings;
- Any alteration or loss of data;
- Indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.
For Premium Users: PDF Work's maximum aggregate liability will not exceed the total amount paid by you in the 12 months prior to the harmful event.
For Free Users: You expressly waive the right to claim any liability or compensation from PDF Work.
13. User Liability
The User agrees to indemnify and hold PDF Work harmless from all losses, liabilities, damages, and claims arising from:
- Any breach of these Terms and Conditions by the User;
- The User's violation of any law or third-party rights;
- Claims related to personal data or materials protected by Intellectual Property rights.
User breach may result in PDF Work immediately canceling your account and/or suspending access to the Services without prior notice.
14. Termination and Suspension
PDF Work may terminate or suspend your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms and Conditions.
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Services will immediately cease;
- You must cease all use of the Services and Programs;
- PDF Work may delete any Content associated with your account.
All provisions of the Terms and Conditions which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
PDF Work is committed to complying with applicable data protection regulations, including the GDPR for users in the European Economic Area.
16. Modifications to Terms
PDF Work reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
By continuing to access or use our Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Services.
